As we move ahead with this project, we need to be able to work on a number of different areas that all require attention. Several committees have been identified to work on specific aspects. We need assistance with all of these. If you would like to support pathways in Granger and can offer some assistance in any of these areas please contact Barbara Black-Fredman (243-1747 or email).
Communication

This committee will
formulate articles for the Web site, reach out to homeowners'
associations, churches, PTO's and other organizations.
Safety
No chairperson at this time.
Members - John Underhhill.
Look into safety programs for biking/walking. Engage with Fundraising
Group A to incorporate activities. We have contacted Memorial Hospital
and have a initial meeting set up with them.
Fundraising (2 groups)
Granger is not a city and we do
not have a fund to dip into to move our project forward. The 2
fundraising groups would serve 2 purposes -- show County/State
officials the depth of interest in this project and help to further
interest within the community.
Group A

Community
activities that raise awareness of multiuse paths, raise funds. For
example this group could have a booth at the Sunburst, sponsor a
childrens contest to name paths, sponsor a drawing contest of things
children could do if we had paths, etc.
Group B
No chairperson at this time.
Identify community leaders that could be approached to assist us in our goals.
